Second Grade

Happy Monday!

Boy is this week starting off differently than we anticipated! We can honestly say that we are quite sad about it - we greatly miss your sweet children!  We hope we will be able to get back together soon before we have serious withdrawals!

We have created 5 days of work on Google Classroom that your child can access through the Internet.  To access this work, type in "classroom.google.com" in the address bar.  In the top right corner, hit the "+" and "join a class. " Our new class code was shared via email. You will need that to log in. Please make sure that your child does not go into our usual class site, but enters this code to go into the site meant for at home review/practice.

We have to document that you have received and your child has done the recommended assignments. If your child can do the assignments through Google Classroom, your child can send us a message on the stream page just telling us that they completed them for that day.  If not, please send an email or Remind message stating the assignments have been completed.  We need this communication DAILY because it's our responsibility to check in with each child every day.

Feel free to email any questions you may have at any time and we will respond as soon as we are able. If you need to actually speak with us by phone about a question on the assignments, please message through email or Remind with the number and time you would like for either of us to call you and we will get back with you. If you have questions about food, obtaining a Chromebook, or other things not related to the assignments, please call the school at 334-4000.

If you can't access Google Classroom for any reason, listed below are activities for your child.

Thank you for supporting us through this journey,

Mrs. Doss and Mrs. Sigmon
