Canvas has two apps that can be installed on any Smartphone (Android or iPhone) that can help keep track of assignments, announcements and feedback.

**Helpful Hints: Your student must be logged into Canvas to generate the pairing code needed to connect your parent app to your student. Each pairing code can only be used once. If you need to connect your student to multiple parents/guardians, a different pairing code must be generated. **
The Canvas STUDENT app is a smartphone version of the Canvas software allowing students to view courses, assignments, grades and teacher feedback.
The STUDENT app may be more helpful for parents of younger students than the Canvas PARENT app. The Parent App does not allow the parents to view the comments on assignments made between the teacher and the student, however, the student app allows the parents to view more of the detailed interactions which may be more helpful in assisting younger learners.
